The Arts Commission welcomes you to its spring fundraiser, The Mix BEACON.  This year we celebrate in one of Toledo’s historic downtown spaces, Fort Industry Square, the site of the very first Mix (The Original Mix) event in 2005.  Guests will have the opportunity to experience the unique spaces of Fort Industry for the first time in many years.

Location:  Fort Industry Square, 136 N. Summit St., Main Entrance, off Water Street, Lower Level.

$135 VIP Admission

VIP Tickets allow guests to access the event one hour before the doors open to the public, with a private cash bar, specialty menu, and artist demonstrations.  Parking at a lot on Water Street will be provided.

Art Auction:  The involvement of our local artists is a huge part of what makes The Mix Toledo’s best party. Entertainment:  The Mix continues The Arts Commission’s history of great entertainment, featuring the best in regional talent.  Featured performers include Los Aztecas, and The Overton Project. PhotoBoothLive returns this year to record the fun for all to see.

Artist Demonstrations and Interactive Experiences:  Local artists will showcase their talents in person, inviting guests to observe and in some cases participate in the creative process itself. PhotoBoothLive returns this year to record the fun for all to see. The Wave Garden will introduce attendees to a plant/light/sound show. Artist Tim Ide will create a light and projection show to highlight the building’s historic architecture.

Great Food:  The Mix BEACON receives the generous support of our local restauranteurs. We are pleased to offer taste treats from the following great Toledo establishments: Balance Pan-Asian Grille, Adams Street Café, Beirut Restaurant, Fowl & Fodder, Yer Mom's House of Eats, Rasa Restaurant and Bar, 7 Little Cupcakes-Perrysburg, Holey Toledough, Maddie & Bella Coffee Roasters, and Marco’s.

VIP Catering Provided by: The Chop House

Bar: The Mix features three cash bars, providing a variety of beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks and more.  Toledo Spirits and Balance Pan-Asian Grille combine forces to make your favorite bubble tea even more interesting!

Event BenefitsProceeds from The Mix will benefit the programs and activities of The Arts Commission, including Young Artists at Work, Creative Placemaking, and Art Loops.

Parking: Complimentary parking will be provided in the ProMedica parking garage at Promenade Park, and in the Water Street lot behind Fort Industry Square.
