Join The Arts Commission for its signature spring fundraiser.

The Arts Commission invites you to join us for our signature spring fundraiser, The Mix. Hosted in 2019 at Toledo Spirits, The Mix PROHIBITION will give a peek into the Toledo of the 1920s. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes experience of the action of a working distillery, plus live music on three stages, dancing, visual art, and food and drink from local chefs and mixologists.

Proceeds for The Mix will benefit the programs and activities of The Arts Commission, including Young Artists at Work, Creative Placemaking, Art Loops and Artist Services.

The Arts Commission welcomes you to its spring fundraiser, The Mix PROHIBITION.

Tickets:
$85 General Admission | $190 VIP

General Admission guests will experience a party for all five senses with:

- Heavy hors d'oeuvres and delicious sweets from local restaurants
- Funky tunes and rhythms from a variety of local acts
- Specialty drinks and a cash bar
- Silent auction featuring locally focused packages
- Art auction showcasing creative works from local artists

There will be a limited number of VIP tickets available for $190 each. Special experiences for VIPs include:

- Catering by Chef Lawson & Brim House
- Early admission to the Bellwether
- Art auction and silent auction with Buy-It-Now opportunities
- Distillery tours
- Special performance by Reina Mystique
- Complimentary spirits tasting or custom cocktail
- Locally made shot glass by Gathered

Art Auction:
The involvement of our local artists is a huge part of what makes The Mix Toledo’s best party. The original works of artists, handpicked by Tara Outten, will be featured in the Mix’s art auction. Committed artists to date are the following:

Entertainment and interactive experiences:
The Mix continues The Arts Commission’s history of great performances, featuring the best in regional talent. Musical acts include Reina Mystique, New Orleans Party Asylum, DJ Scotty Boombox, Whirlybirds, Ragtime Rick, Calico Cabaret, Olivia & The Playboys, Petr Karchenko Duo, Hector Mendoza, and Chole Wagenhauser Duo. Martin Jarrett will be on hand performing up close magic and PhotoBoothLive returns this year to record the fun throughout the evening.

Silent Auction:
Silent auction offerings will include local restaurant packages, art packages, private cooking classes, travel and outdoor adventures, health and wellness experiences and more. The following are just a few of the businesses supporting The Arts Commission’s Mix PROHIBITION silent auction:
